Hello World, Join me as I get to grips with technology and finally stumble into the twentyfirst century. Things are looking up, six weeks ago I acquired freeview and now have more rubbish programmes that I don't want to watch.
The up side is that I have BBC news on tap and can watch like a rabbit caught in the headlights as news unfolds, the repetitive nature of the bulletins and the information scrolling along the bottom of the screen all help to put me into some kind of weird hypnotic trance.
Can I accept breaking news? Is it too current for consumption, how do I know it's true? Well the broadcaster does tell me that that the reports are 'unconfirmed'so should I be worried or not?
Anyway I'm prepared for the switchover so no more rubbish messages on my predigital screen warning me of the consequences of not being ready for the switchover bye bye analogue you served me well faithful friend
